About the event
Come celebrate America’s 250th birthday at Clatskanie’s BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR, 4th of July! From morning to night, activities include a downtown parade, live music, vendors, logging show, and much more. On top of it all, we will end the night with a BANG through our spectacular fireworks show!
Activities are put together by local volunteers and citizens, giving the day a heartfelt, grassroots feel. Overall, if you’re looking for a small town, picturesque 4th of Juy feel, our event is for you.
TENTATIVE Schedule of Events
THE PARADE
- 10:00am / Parade Line Up (Marching Band/Horses Line up at the Elementary School, Motorized floats line up at the front entrance of the High School, off of Bel Air Street)
- 11:00am / 4th of July Parade Begins
- This year’s theme: 250 years of Red, White, & Blue
ACTIVITIES @THE CITY PARK
- ALL DAY / Food & Vendors!
- Rich Larsen Memorial Kiwanis Bingo & Dunk Tank
- Kid Center Activities (bounce houses, etc)
- Start / 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Begins
- FREE Cartoon Caricature Artist Drawings
- Logging Exhibition
